Marios Louka is working in the Critical Care Unit at the Mediterannean Hospital of Cyprus as a Head Nurse since 2017. He graduated with a BSc in Nursing from the Cyprus University of Technology in 2017. He holds a specialty as Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in Emergency and Intensive Care Unit since 2020. Marios is currently a PhD Candidate supervised by Dr. Angelos Kassianos at the Cyprus University of Technology’s Department of Nursing since 2023. His topic is the adaptation of e-CREST tool in Cyprus nurses and nursing students as an alternative education method in Clinical Reasoning.

Marios is also elected member of the Cyprus Nurses and Midwives Committee in the sector of ANPs since 2024. He has previous working experience in Surgical Ward as an A Level Nurse and is ALS (Advanced Life Support) Certified.
