We are delighted to introduce our new intern, Anna Prokopidou.
Anna is a fourth-year undergraduate psychology student at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) Cyprus. Her interests lie in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, and psychological research.
Through her previous internship at a centre specialising in transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and ketamine therapy in Cyprus, Anna gained valuable insights into the neurobiological mechanisms underlying mental health conditions and the use of innovative treatment approaches.
Anna has also worked as a classroom assistant in early childhood education, where she supported students individually with their learning needs, promoted cognitive and emotional development through guided play and group activities, and assisted in the implementation of learning activities supporting children’s development.
At the Behavioral Science in Health (BSiH) Lab, Anna will support the RELIEF project, while further developing her skills in psychological research and data analysis. She is excited to be part of the lab and to contribute to meaningful, evidence-based work in behavioural science and health.
We welcome Anna to the team and wish her every success during her time at the BSiH Lab.
