We are very happy to welcome Mr Rafael Omirou, who is doing his internship with us at the BSiH Lab during 2024! Rafael has a BSc in Nursing from the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Cyprus Institute of Marketing (CIM) and an MSc in Applied Health Informatics and Telemedicine from the Open University of Cyprus. He will start his PhD at CUT in 2025. At the same time, he is working as an Operating Room Nurse at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus.
Rafael is contributing to a number of activities at the lab including a paper on psychometric properties of Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) of quality of life (see protocol here), and several other tasks in funded projects including Greentouch and co-OPERATOR.
The BSiH Lab Internship program offers the opportunity to early career professionals and researchers as well as students to gain hands-on research experience in a wide range of projects and research methodologies under the supervision and mentorship of the Lab’s staff.
