
Christiana Karashiali
Christiana Karashiali is a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Cyprus. She completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Surrey and an MSc in Health Psychology at the University College London (UCL). She also completed a CME Online course titled “Assessment and Treatment of Major Depressive Disorders” from Harvard Medical School.
Her research interests involve chronic conditions, addiction, mental illness, health beliefs and their effects on health outcomes and identity. She has been involved in a wide range of qualitative research projects, so she gained significant experience in qualitative methods and in various ways of data collection (e.g., individual interviews, focus groups, ‘think-aloud method’).
