Dr. Kleanthis Neokleous serves as the Multidisciplinary Research Group Leader (MRG) at the Immersive Technologies for Intelligent and Creative Applications (ITICA) within the CYENS Centre of Excellence. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus, a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), as well as dual Master’s degrees in Space Science and Technology from Lulea University of Technology, Sweden, and in Space Systems and Automation from the Czech Technical University, Czech Republic.

He has a diverse background spanning Virtual Reality, 3D graphics, Electronic Health (eHealth), Computational Neuroscience and Machine Learning, and over the years, he has led numerous large-scale EU and national funded projects that bridge the gap between academia and industry. Additionally, Dr. Neokleous is a co-founder and board member of several companies specializing in Virtual Reality and eHealth technologies. Notably, he is associated with Silversky3D, MentisVR, IMMERSEAV Ltd, and 3AHealth.
