
Dr. Pinelopi Konstantinou
Dr. Pinelopi Konstantinou (Ph.D) is a Clinical Psychologist and Post-Doctoral Researcher at the BSiH Lab since September 2024. Prior to joining the BSiH Lab, she worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the ACThealthy laboratory, Dept. of Psychology, University of Cyprus. She is also a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Lancashire Cyprus. The topic of her previous post-doctoral research position was a digital intervention for mental health symptoms for healthcare professionals and a digital intervention for vaping in adolescents. She received her doctorate from the University of Cyprus, which was funded by the Internal Grants at the University of Cyprus. She has published numerous papers in the field of Clinical and Health Psychology and has served as a reviewer in well-known journals and member of the student editorial board in the Journal of Contextual Behavioral Science. She received an international award from the global conference of the Association of Contextual Behavioral Science for her presentation on proposing recommendations to researchers for using wearable devices on assessing thoughts and feelings. She also has an MSc in Psychological Research Methods from the University of Nottingham, UK. She is a mixed methods researcher, and her research experience includes both qualitative and quantitative research methodology as well as systematic and scoping reviews. She has a long experience in research methodology having worked as a Research Assistant in numerous projects at the University of Cyprus for more than 10 years, by coordinating, managing and collaborating with HCPs (medical and nursing staff), computer science researchers, and academic staff at Universities inside and outside Cyprus. She is also passionate with using new technologies in the development of psychological interventions so as to result in advanced care and improvement of individuals’ quality of life and well-being.Â
Pinelopi is currently the project manager for the DESIPOC project at BSiH Lab, which is funded by the EU4Health Programme.Â
