Dr. Veronica Hadjipanagi

Dr. Veronica Hadjipanayi is a dedicated chartered psychologist with a BSc in Experimental Psychology and a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Bristol. Her research focuses on cognitive processes, particularly attention and decision-making, alongside health research aiming at improving human behaviour and quality of life. During her studies, she completed a research visit at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, funded by the Experimental Psychological Society, where she delved into human movement research and rehabilitation. Veronica has also received online training from Harvard Medical School in implementing positive psychology interventions in clinical settings. She has worked with diverse populations, including children and adults with developmental disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorder, employing various research methodologies such as quantitative and qualitative approaches, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. Veronica has published in high-impact international journals and serves as a reviewer for several academic publications. Her postdoctoral experience includes being an Honorary Research Visitor at the University of Bristol, coordinating eye-tracking studies on attention prioritization, and managing EU-funded health sector projects targeting physical and mental health challenges. Veronica is an active member of professional organizations including the British Psychological Society (BPS), Cyprus Psychologists Association (CYPSA), and the American Psychological Association (APA).  

 She is currently a post-doctoral researcher at BSiH Lab, working on the DESIPOC project funded by the EU4Health Programme.
