BSiH Lab Director Participates in SISAQOL Training in Zagreb

26th September 2026

We are pleased to share that Dr Angelos Kassianos, Director of the Behavioural Science in Health (BSiH) Lab at Cyprus University of Technology, was selected to participate in the SISAQOL™ Pilot In-Person Training, held in Zagreb, Croatia, on 22–23 September 2026.

Dr Kassianos participated in the training as a member of the EORTC Quality of Life Group (QLG). The two-day programme, organised by the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) and the EORTC QLG, brought together professionals working in cancer clinical research to explore the implementation of SISAQOL recommendations for Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) and Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) endpoints.

The training included expert presentations, practical case studies and interactive discussions covering the design, analysis, interpretation and presentation of PRO data, as well as the incorporation of patient perspectives in cancer clinical trials.

Dr Kassianos’ participation reflects the BSiH Lab’s engagement with international research initiatives advancing patient-centred approaches, quality of life and patient-reported outcomes in cancer research.
