BSiH Lab Director Angelos Kassianos was an invited speaker at the 2024 Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society Conference. The Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society Scientific Conference on “Making Progress in Cancer Care with Research, Compassion and Multidisciplinary Collaboration” took place on 18 and 19 October 2024, in Limassol. The conference was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus.
The conference hosted leading speakers in the field of Oncology and Palliative Care from Cyprus and abroad, highlighting the significant developments in the care of people with cancer.
Dr Kassianos presented examples of research studies conducted in the Lab. During the first day he spoke at the plenary of the Conference on the impact of palliative care on quality of life. During the second date Dr Kassianos presented at the Cyprus Nurses and Midwives Association’s Oncology Nursing Group session to advocate for the value of research in nursing and medicine.
