The Behavioural Science in Health – BSiH Lab is delighted to share that we have been selected as a grantee of the 2025 Chinese Ambassador Fund, recognising our work on strengthening Sino‑Cypriot collaboration in digital health and behavioural science. The grant was formally awarded during the Ambassadors Fund Grant Ceremony held on 8 December 2025 at the Limassol Municipal University Library, in the presence of the Rector of the Cyprus University of Technology and H.E. Ambassador Liu Yantao.
During the ceremony’s exchange session, Dr Angelos Kassianos presented “Cyprus–China Collaboration in Digital Health & Behavioural Science,” outlining the lab’s vision for joint work with Chinese partners on digital interventions, experimental methods and public health innovation. The Ambassador Fund will support a programme of activities including high‑impact seminars on behavioural science and digital health, capacity‑building workshops on applied health psychology and experimental methods, co‑design and participatory innovation sessions, and panel discussions on youth mental health and digital equity.
Planned outcomes include the development of joint publications and grant proposals, enhanced training opportunities for students and early‑career researchers, and the establishment of a sustainable collaboration framework between Cyprus University of Technology and Duke Kunshan University in the years ahead. A planned visit to Duke Kunshan University is planned for Spring 2026 so stay tuned for further information as this collaboration unfolds!
