16th February 2026
From 10–12 February 2026, the GreenTouch consortium met in Lisbon, Portugal, for a three‑day project meeting hosted by the Forest Therapy Hub (FTHub) at Tribe Lisbon. GreenTouch brings together partners from Latvia, Slovenia, Portugal and Cyprus to co‑create digital, nature‑based resources that support student mental health, nature connectedness and sustainability competences in higher education.
The Lisbon meeting focused on partner updates and the next steps for two core outputs: the GreenTouch digital tool and the EcoMind Practice e‑course. Across the three days, the consortium worked on refining the structure and logic of the EcoMind Practice e‑course, clarifying roles and responsibilities for content development, planning networking activities and conferences, and aligning on the overall project timeline and upcoming milestones.
The Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and the Behavioral Science in Health – BSiH Lab were represented by Angelos Kassianos, Marianna Koutsantoni and Maria Loizou. On behalf of CUT and BSiH Lab, Marianna Koutsantoni presented the GreenTouch pilot study protocol, outlining the multi‑country, mixed‑methods design that will be used to test the feasibility, acceptability and preliminary effects of the GreenTouch digital tool on student mental health and well‑being.
The BSiH Lab team will now work with partners to finalise the pilot protocol and evaluation framework and to prepare for data collection in participating institutions.
