Promoting Maternal Support and Reliable Information: BSiH Lab at Baby Show Cyprus 2026

05th March 2026

The Behavioural Science in Health (BSiH) Lab was pleased to participate in Baby Show Cyprus 2026, where we presented the ALTHEA CY project and engaged with parents and families about the importance of informed and supportive motherhood.

ALTHEA begins from a simple but critical need: motherhood requires reliable information, care, and meaningful support, not fragmented information or silence. The project aims to support parents by providing access to trustworthy knowledge and by creating spaces for dialogue around the experiences of motherhood and care.

During the two-day exhibition (February 28 – March 1, 2026, Pavilion Hall, Nicosia), Dr Angelos Kassianos and Ms Eleftheria Lazarou from CUT and the BSiH Lab joined collaborators from Birth Forward at Stand 28, where they shared information about the project and discussed maternal health, respectful maternity care, and the importance of evidence-based support for families.

The ALTHEA project is funded by the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation and runs until 2027.

We are grateful for the many meaningful conversations with parents and families and look forward to continuing to promote evidence-based support for maternal and family health.
